RE:Lab results pending on 40,627 meters of drillingBack on July 6 they reported:
A total of 267 holes totaling approximately 61,700 meters of drilling has been completed to date, representing approximately 31% of the planned 200,000m program.
Isn't that kind of strange? In a little over a month, they've only drilled 34 new holes, and 13,325 more meters. That's an average of about 391m per hole. A drill, if all is going well, could conceivably drill a 391m hole in about 4-5 days. So, in say, 40 days, 1 drill could complete approximately 8-10 holes. With 9 drills, they could conceivably produce 70-90 holes in 40 days. Again...only if all things go well with the drills, and the holes aren't super deep.
For those with lots of drilling experience, doesn't 34 holes seem quite low, for 9 drills, in that length of time?
