It should happen by year end, but expect anything in this crazy world. Talking about $40 or even $100 per share is just a fantasy. Majors learned their lesson 10 years ago when several of them almost went bankrupt doing insane deals. Even Rio was facing bankruptcy after the Alcan takeover and only survived due to the Chinese cash injection. Almost every other major at the time made the same stupid mistakes. They will not do so again. It will be a miracle if we receive a buyout over $20 per share.
