Interesting

Appears to be some disgruntled shareholders among us. Nobody is holding a gun to your head. Sell and move on to something else. You won't hurt anyone's feelings. Just for comparison because someone mentioned it. GBR and AMX haven't released any assay results since November. NFG has had 3 or 4 news releases with assay results in the month of January alone.

Everyone is complaining about assay results however if you go back over NFG's first 18 months in operation  I bet they have had at least two dozen or more news releases with assay results. Not bad assay disclosure during a pandemic. Tough crowd to please. Some things are beyond NFG's ability to control and every region has had issues due to Covid restrictions. The assay labs are no different. Workers can't go to work if they are sick or had close contact with someone who is Covid positive. I know I can't go into work if I have one symptom. This is the reality that everyone is facing today  People are still dying from this virus  January month was Newfoundland's worst month during the pandemic for cases and deaths. But guess what. The guys are still drilling away out there in the cold and snow, rain and mud night and day 24/7  Lots of progress is being made on the ground. No doubt we all wish things could be moving along quicker but unfortunately that isn't today's reality.

I bet every business on this planet has been affected by the pandemic in one way or another. I know I've been in isolation that many times and tested for Covid literally dozens and dozens of times at work trying to keep each other safe. In case you guys have forgotten the pandemic still isn't over so it still isn't business as usual. I think New Found Gold has done an excellent job of keeping their operation going and their workers safe during this pandemic. Assay labs have struggled like many other businesses so perhaps we need to cut them some slack. Our results are coming soon and I think we will be happy campers. NFG isn't spending $3.5 million on a GigaShack building and buyout the three amigos NSR on the property for $7.5 million in cash and stock just for fun. The company has 178 employees and soon to be 14 drills turning night and day. This isn't your average everyday gold discovery. The drill results are in the upper 1% of all assay results released on the planet last year so NFG is doing pretty damn good in my opinion.

All that gold didn't magically drop from the sky, it came from deeper down along the major faults in the ground and NFG will find it. The last few news releases were excellent drill results. The stock didn't appreciate much because of global economic conditions. Not the fault of NFG management. Like I said previously, some things are beyond your control so you have to adapt and change the game plan and roll with the punches. Great buying opportunity for the astute investor who can exercise a little patience. Sunday thoughts from Megacopper and the Rock Doctor. Relax and have a drink and put your feet up and enjoy your evening.

Thanks Megacopper, for another great post. NFG is in a league of their own. They have posted 31 results during the past 15 months, despite facing vigorous Covid 19 protocols. it's sad that the legitimate posters on this board have to deal with so much nonsense and garbage from new posters and bashers. Most of the time, they do not dessrve a response, but rather a quick addition to the ignore ...more

I still don't think everyone is clear on what I'm trying to convey. 1) I would prefer it if NFG would consistently release all assay results they receive when they receive them. If, due to COVID precautions / restrictions, assay results that are slow to come in due to backlogs at the labs, cores being held up at Australian ports, rain, sleet, snow, moose attacks, etc., assay results ...more

Do you really think the management cares. You would like them to realease assay results, and so would I like this, however the management is running and exploration not pandering to a few folks on stock house. Get a grip.
Comment by AlwaysLong683 on Jan 30, 2022 8:59pm
Perhaps NFG is just reporting their very best cores and spreading them out (one per week) while holding others back.....? Hard to imagine them receiving assay results on only one core once per week over the past three weeks, though I suppose it's possible.....? I think if a company can gain a reputation as a straight shooter with the investment community, they are better off than if they do ...more

Alwayslong, Do give it a rest...this line of reasoning is fast becoming tiresome.  Perhaps, like your new buddy, Malpeque, you are so desperate to prove YOUR little point that you are now pursuing this whole "conspiracy theory" routine (what a chestnut!).  It does not look good on you...and throws all of your previous posts, some of which were salient, into question. Just sayin ...more

I don't think you will get the answers you are looking for here on this bullboard. We have no idea if the company has received the assays back from Perth or any other assay Lab for that matter. I think they might be using at least 3 different labs. NFG management could be sitting on results for a short period of time I guess without releasing them. I really don't know ...more

I am sorry Mega but Alwayslong I put on ignore a long time ago and he really (if real) should not invest in any stock if you have that level of paranoi and distrust. Tell him to sell and move on PLEASE. As for his bucked tooth pal he loves feeding into him with his confusion and  slander of others IMHO. Craziness can be contagious ...if you put a sane person with a room of insane he  ...more

If I was sending cores halfway round the world, I wouldn't  be choosing them in a dark room with a blindfold on. Lots of visible nuggety gold would be my pick. Stay tuned

For anyone that has compared the mineralization encountered at NFG's Queensway property with that found at the Swan Zone at Fosterville it most certainly gets your attention. It certainly got my attention and it impressed Eric Sprott enough to throw in another $48 million dollars at $9.60 a share. Very similar style mineralization at both properties with nearly identical gold ...more

And ES also said it took approx 18 months after Kirkland Lakes took over Newmarket for the SP to start increasing in any appreciable way. The market wanted to see "earnings". Those who got in before this made a killing
Comment by Global1966 on Jan 30, 2022 10:41pm
And ES is a bean counter so he knew what the earnings were going to look like, just like he knows what NFG is going to look like a little bit down the track

Global1966,  this point about the delay from drill results to "earning" at  KL is true,  though I might say more like 6 to 12 months delay to get the Swan Zone into the mix at Fosterville.   It was an already producing mine and mill as far as I know. Which leads me to some thought and conjecture on NFG.   Keats is pretty big,  probably a few ...more

Depends on Pallisades attitude. The 2 of them hold the big sticks. But early on in the piece I did make a comment in a similar vein to your thoughts. The trouble is ES has interests in too many entities to keep track of,, that is, where a move can come from. Now I'm thinking NFG should be able to get to much more than 5 million on its own - high grade. Hopefully closer to 10 million. Keats is ...more

I forgot to add that ES owns more of NFG than he did Kirkland Lakes. If anyone has the drive to get NFG to mining stage it will be ES. But he isn't  getting any younger and mining is a few years out for anyone.

ahh confusion still prevades your posts oyster dude. we apparently have 5 and 1/2 mill ounces by most accounts so why would you  low ball that? You sound like you have little man syndrome as well to your other mental malodies. Still overall confusing on so many levels and we all struggle to think what you are  saying. Dear IKE: Newfoundland is too long to write,  and since your the guardian of puncuation and spelling,  remember,  I thought I would use and abbrev. Now,  IKE,  in the context of the sentence I wrote I was actually refering to the island,  not the people,  so I find it hard to imagine  a big pile of rocks sticking up out of the Atlantic Ocean would find it ...more

Now Oyester Head  it is a good thing you do not have to say Newfoundland and Labrador but I assure you your reference is offensive even if not to you as you can only deal with brevity though you give long diatribes of nonsense. As to the size of things at hand since you started this silly size thing ... I relinquish the floor to you as to say where you got your lowball number or were you ...more

Well bust my buttons.   I never thought of that!    So,  given that logic,   since Eric Sprott put up all this $$$ into Not Found Gold,  does HE get the assay results to see how his money is being spent,  and whether he's got another Fosterville +  and we the public sheeple,  do not?
Comment by Global1966 on Jan 30, 2022 10:00pm
ES knew he had Fosterville+ a long time ago. He has the benefit of being able to pay for independent 2nd,3rd and 4th opinions

Thanks Global! Although sometimes I feel that we get stuck with the "armchair quarterbacks".  BUT unlike them, ES ain't chicken about "pressing the bet!"...third and one. el d

AlwaysLong683 is being very polite and detailed here in regard to the drills/cores/assay results released so far in 2022.  What he really is asking here is  NFG management  blowing smoke up shareholders butts and being selective here in releasing only the "high grade" assays and not everything else that might have a negative effect on the stock price,   since we ...more

AlwaysLong63: No one on this board can answer your questions. I have no idea why you continue to subject us to them. if you feel so strongly about them you should forward them to NFG in Vancouver. That's what I would do. When you receive a response it would be appreciated if you would share it with us. Good luck

GBR were 4 years into their dig. Wait till NFG is 2 years into their dig. Note: NFG's market cap and GBR's takeout total should give you a small hint
