This is now underway elsewhere . One signifucant outcome will be right to charge short seller bashers for securities fraud, if any of their public posts contain fraudulent statements intended to persuade equity holders to sell. This is going to be an explosive issue along with many other issues relating to the perpetrators and facilitators of securities fraud.

Nozz, please try to post all pertinent facts on issues.  The ban in South Korea is only on until June 2024.  Naked short selling is quite another issue which should have very strict penalties and fines imposed, not the kind where those caught say "it's the cost of doing business", but the kind that puts them in jail and/or bankrupts them. I think S. Korea is experimenting

Yeah,  Nozz...saw that article.....Canada is way behind on this issue. One of the Earth Lab podcasts got deep into how the naked short selling is destroying the Canadian exploration industry. I wonder if Trudue regime even cares, or thinks destroying mining industry is just deserts?
