It is focused on producing natural graphite and upgrading it into high value products critical to the green economy, including anode material for lithium-ion batteries/EVs, fuel cells and graphene, as well as advanced industrial technologies. Its mining operations and projects include Lac-des-Iles (LDI), Okanjande, Bisset Creek, Mousseau West, and South Okak Project. The LDI graphite mine is located approximately two kilometers south of Lac-des-Iles, Quebec, approximately 110 km northeast of Ottawa and 180 km northwest of Montreal. The Okanjande graphite deposit, located approximately 22 km south of the town of Otjiwarongo, and the Okorusu processing plant. Its products include natural flake graphite, natural flake graphite for friction applications, and others.

Graphite, lithium and batteries will see lots of news and attention in the coming weeks. The 80 day electric car race landed in North America Saturday in Halifax and they are headed to New York today and then across USA to west coast.
