RE:1student - how many CEO positions have you held?Bywrong - well put to the Nouveau Monde plant here, certainly not a NGC shareholder, certainly as you put it...a CFS...Chief Fud Supplier...good one !!

If FUD1 was Little Red Riding Hood....would never get to grandma's house, spend too much time critiquing every inch of the path thru the forest, mistaking anthills for mountains, type of things

As NGC points out

China has sent an important wakeup call to the world that the energy transition is as much about energy security as it is about building a more sustainable planet. The decision by China to curb some exports of graphite underscores the massive opportunity for Rest-of-the-World producers of this critical component of Lithium-Ion batteries. What’s clear is that investors in graphite companies will see success in the long-term because graphite mines are going to have to be built in the West to meet the needs of battery manufacturers. Let’s remember that graphite is the largest component of the Lithium-Ion batteries used to power electric vehicles, and this news puts immediate pressure on the world’s automakers and producers of EV batteries – located mostly in the United States, Japan, India and South Korea - to look for alternate sources of supply. That will put producers like Northern Graphite, the only producer of natural graphite in North America, into the spotlight as one of the few suppliers outside of China.
