RE:RE:China Owns The EV Supply Chain1student,everytime one country has a monopoly on certain resources or finished goods and they slowly or suddenly deny their adversaries access to those goods it forces the country that has sanctions imposed on it to either produce that substance or manufactured item themseves in order to bypass the sanctions. In the case of China they will develop their own high end semi conductor industry. America and the west have a lot of catching up to do in almost every field of business. If they don't meet this challenge their auto industry will suffer an immense loss. It is easy for our governments to mandate the need to be self sufficient in critical elements but very hard to procure them in time to reach the factory floor so they can compete with the Asians. We foolishly have allowed ourselves to become dependant on their resource based supply chain and manufactured items.
We as investors can only hope that our countries response is quick and efficient enough to get us out of this dilema. If we lag in getting a secure supply for our own market the people who are invested in many products will move on to other projects. I just hope this company secures the help it needs to get a finished graphite market soon in the form of an announcement. Markets are very fickled and money can move in and out of an investment at the click of a button. I am only reiterating what you already know but is crucial to keep on the front burner. CHEERS!
