RE:Quid pro Quo

RE:Quid pro QuoYou raise some good points MaterialsMan.
However, sometimes the very threat of a pending "like kind retaliation" by China has a more sustained and just about irreversable impacts, this irregardless of whether there is follow through on the threat occurring December 1, 2023 or at any point after that date.
You can believe that it's not going to become a relative Kumbaya relationship amongst China Communist Party ruled China and the U.S et al.
These two countries, along with U.S proxy states throughout the Western world of course, are at a willingly self-escalated level of "economic war",  a economic war which is invariably, as long established history would inform us all, part in parcel representative of the very prelude to all out physical war in the future.
Alas, the time for going back to a globalization aided and a relatively assured world of relatively peacefully - again, relatively peacefully - maintained trade relationship amongst nations utilizing anything other than democratic systems of political government and the known Western world member state democracies is no more.

I assure you that any somewhat "temporary reprieve" (and that does remain to be seen) from China's suggested graphite and graphitic materials comprised products export policy is not going to result in a setback for "ex-China" situated miners and suppliers of natural flake graphite and/or synthetic graphite process manufacturers of graphitic materials products, including graphite comprised "BAM".

Friendshoring is not stopping; far from it.
The U.S and Western world member states very long planned, long ago engineered, incessantly orchestrated and quite intentionally and all too timely triggered and sponsored proxy war against Russia within Ukraine, a war which is
geoeconomically and geopolictically taking place far beyond Ukraine's borders within Eastern Europe, is not likely to be stopped anytime soon.
"The New World Order" - rather the increasingly disordered and ultimately to be fractured, irreparably broken and all but entirely destroyed "rules based" world order - and "the great reset", which had been conceived of, believed in and is well on it's way to being successfully achieved, is what had been and what is presently afoot.
Alas, there is no going back as the world powers have placed one another beyond the precipice and are hurtling down toward oblivion in seemingly very slow motion.

As that classic Bachman-Turner Overdrive song would inform us all, "You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet"
