The reason for the question has to do with time and cost required.
I do not know how much natural graphite in terms of tons is required to produce one ton of anode material.
I do suspect however that to build out a plant that could produce 200,000 tons of anode material would most likely cost at least 5 billion, probably more, and take about 15 or 20 years from scratch, conservatively.
Of course that cost would have to be adjusted for inflation.
I don't expect to be alive by the time something of that nature evolves.
Maybe NGC would be better off just trying to sell some graphite.
