Apparently Imery's is liquidating many assets to scrap together cash. They are appently responsible for approximately 30% of the J&J lawsuit which will be in the total area of $11B. 

I believe the talc mine sold for $234M USD and the money is being held in trust to go toward settlements of baby powder. They likely also have the monies from the sale of LDI and Namibia tucked away in savings towards the settlement.

so Mr 1student I think you can safely remove Imery's from your comments because I think they have sold their shares in NGC. They were likely part of the reason the price began to collapse last year. Do not know just putting 2 and 2 together possibly equallying 4 but I may be wrong an it only equals 3. LOL

You seem surprised with respect to the Imerys SA connection to that claim filed against J&J, in regards to the asbestos contaminated talcum powder lawsuit. It's obvious that you are either choosing to overlook something most specific about Imerys
