APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTORS

poration (“New Guinea Gold” or the
“Company”) is pleased to announce the appointment o
f Mr. Lachlan McIntosh and Mr.
Mathew Wood as Directors of the Company.
Mr. McIntosh and Mr. Wood were elected by sharehold
ers at the Company’s Annual General
Meeting, held on April 29, 2013.
Mr. McIntosh is a chartered accountant and brings e
xtensive financial experience to the Board,
while Mr. Wood has extensive experience in the reso
urce sector, including the technical and
economic evaluation of projects. A biography of bot

Mr. McIntosh and Mr. Wood join Mr. Ces Iewago (Chai
rman), Mr. Greg Heaney (President
and CEO) and Mr. Arthur Alexander as Directors of t
he Company.
Lachlan McIntosh
Lachlan is a Senior Managing Director, Corporate Fi
nance of NYSE Listed FTI Consulting
and Chairman of the ASX-listed entity Eureka Group
Holdings Limited. In addition, Mr.
McIntosh was a Director of ASX 200 mining services
company Industrea Ltd. until its
takeover by GE in November 2012. He advises a numbe
r of Mining Services and Mining
Companies and is a chartered accountant who brings
financial discipline to all matters in which
he is involved. He brings extensive mining and mini
ng services experience.
Matthew Wood
Matthew has over 20 years’ experience in the resour
ce sector with both major and junior
resource companies and has extensive experience in
the technical and economic evaluation of
resource projects throughout the world. Mr. Wood’s
expertise is in project identification,
negotiation, acquisition and corporate development.
Mr. Wood has an honors degree in
geology from the University of New South Wales in A
ustralia and a graduate certificate in
mineral economics from the Western Australian Schoo
l of Mines. Mr. Wood is currently a
director of ASX listed Voyager Resources Limited, C
aravel Energy Limited, Lindian
Resources Limited, Haranga Resources Limited, Wolf
Petroleum Limited, Black Star
Petroleum Limited, Oakland Resources Limited and Av
anco Resources Limited. Mr. Wood is
a founding director in venture capital and advisory
firm Garrison Capital Pty Ltd.
Annual General Meeting Update
The Company is pleased to advise that all resolutio
ns put to the Annual General Meeting,
including the election of directors, the appointmen
t of Auditors and the approval of the
Company’s Stock Option Plan, were passed at the mee
ting. The meeting was held on April 29,
2013.
