LI is having issues with keeping their share price above the threshold required to keep their listing on the NASDAQ exchange. In the recent Rock Stock Channel interview, Mr Harris stated (25:50) that LI had been approached to provide $ 7,000,000 to $ 8,000,000 (assumption - USD through exercise of their NILI warrants) of the $ 25 to $ 30 million 2025 NILI operation budget. Surprising as you say, and unlikely, as you say they have their own issues. But I would think that a large investor would prefer to buy from treasury to see it go to work.

Good point. However, based on the Rock Stock -Harris interview, it appears that LI will be purchasing  NILI warrants rather than divesting.

Why would they exercise warrants that are well out of the money? And where would they get the money?

I believe that the proposal is for LI to purchase more warrants in NILI.

LI has money in the bank, but also has lots of projects that need development.
