RE: QB Hydro Export ModelIf you want to send power south you need transmission lines. SBX has nearly gotten approval for the line that will link the island to Washington and Bonnyville power system. Until transmission capacity is expanded, NKW project is to big for present system. The main reason for offshore in Europe is land price and availability. No need to go offshore when you have suitable land sites.
