RE:RE:RE:Let's not miss this opportunityThen there is the Niakun Kiigawaay, a clan that claims Rose Spit as ancestral lands and object to the wind farm being on the most sacred site in Haida legend. (Elvis Davis a spokesman for the clan). "This sacred area should be protected under religious claims". Also concerns back in 2010 were expressed over a large debt-"it's a super gamble". (Roy Jones Jr. hereditary chief). Fast forward 10 years. How are things being viewed today. Will changes be made to accommodate the concerns? Get the Federal and Provincial Gov't along with other issues involved and wow, quite a plate-full.
