Still guessing...

So basically the stock caught my eye Aug 30th, 20-19 with the large volume of trading and price rise. But as we saw, the stock went to 2 cents in 2020. Rebounded only recently. Orsted wanted to give it a try, but after one year left for the Eastern US.--Since the formation of the partnership in September of 2017, progress has been made in the development of the project, but it is still in the development phase in a less mature market compared to others like the U.S. east coast said Thomas Brostrom, President of rsted North America. rsted believes that the business is for the time being best served by focusing our efforts on our rapidly expanding U.S. portfolio. We are thankful to NaiKun (Oceanic) for the opportunity, and we look forward to future possibilities in Canada and will continue to follow the market closely.--So some progress was made. Did this involve only technical progress or the Haida also?-----Ok another clue to the wind/door puzzle. Both Noel Starblanket and Perry Bellegarde were born in this area on the prairies.

@BayWall, being 38 with a young family and not be 64 with spare time to dig about and carry out the DD that I should, I really appreciate you sharing all the information and insight you do! Many of these boards are filled with pump and dump trash, so it's nice to find  people that actually add value. I've been a shareholder for years, dipping in and out a few times, but mostly just ...more

BC election on Saturday.--Will this impact renewable energy initiatives in BC in any way?

tombethune, stocks like this one are highly speculative. It's tempting to look for quick gains with penny stocks. Picking stocks is like gambling. It's important to keep this in mind. For people having young families, I would suggest safer, dividend paying stocks, mutual funds, etc. Maybe an advisor can help pick a suitable portfolio. We hear banks, talk about "wealth management" ...more

tombethube, more conservative investors have had success with companies that increase dividends each year. Canadian National Railroads, excellent stock for many years. Utilities often increase dividends; are boring and slower in capital appreciation, but they get the job done. For those more adventuresome and with a shorter investment timeframe, maybe try up-and-coming stocks which are gradually ...more

Revisiting the past: Capital Power went from $30.52 when I had mentioned it (October 25, 2020), to $44.30 today. Even today it still pays a 5% dividend.@ Still trying to guage Oceanic/Northland progress. Progress is being made as the tenure was issued in July with the proper consultations. I believe Northland is seeking a PPA now.
