This is good news. Market reaction was predictable. When market is on downturn, only large scale news counts. EIA won't have much impact either. 3 years ago, this news would add 50-100M to cap.

In one of my post, I had "optimistic scenario" - attempt to use low impurity to cut cost, which result in delay, this is exactly what happened.

They added extra process - to minimize chemical intake. Thus, they could not use conventional method.

I.e. low impurity did not accelerate the process, but materialized in 80% chemical reduction. If it confirmed by FS, considering cost of chemical and their transportation, we may see 2.5K/tonne cost, matching SQM - no project in the world managed to do so.

NLC is not good stock for speculation, though it is, probably, one of the fastest brine development so far.

Now, only financing and EIA are on the way to production..

Would they announce Pilot results in December, we would have same s/p, but I agree with you, they should better communicate with retail investors (announcing stage results separately). Also, let market (remember it is tiny Venture one) process the news and get financing and we will see, but I afraid corona panic may eat most of new cap....

In any case, it is a great news. Good luck!
