RE:Takeover I'm not so sure about that, time will tell. Patience over the next few years without a takeover will reward shareholders with a much higher price than that.
It is actually quite rare that a company has both the project and the timing.
An EV explosion will lift lithium prices dramatically especially carbonate which will be used to create the largest market, a 20-25k$ quality vehicle for the Chinese market. CATL knows this.
So not only lithium demand but of a bit of hype will drive carbonate pricing way upwards. Now you also have one of the best if not the best lithium brine projects in the world combined with the most experienced management in the industry.
This is a very rare opportunity where the rewards far outweigh the risks.
