long ago, after the PEA or the PFS, I don't remeber which, I roughly estimated/calculated the brine content (produced carbonate) of 3Q. I think I also mentioned my result here on SH NLC board.
LOM carbonate production does not stop at 10 million tonnes.
That's one of the reasons why I smiled so happily when I read somewhere, also some time ago, that Argentina's carbonate reserves were about 10 million tonnes.
OK, I'll admit that that was a number coughed up by the "experts" who add up the official calculations.
Our management team also knows this, CATL does as well.
They have to follow the rules though (independent analysis & such), which I don't have to do for my own investment decisions.
If they would produce 100K tonnes/yr, they can keep it up for 100 years.
Mind you, as production progresses, average brine content will grow to a lower number, we'll need more ponds to keep the plant working at capacity. A good problem to have.
