Home healthcare reduces hospital readmissions, study shows

"Researchers examined the records of more than 15,000 Humana MA members released to their homes following hospital stays. The more than 4,100 patients who received home healthcare were 60% less likely to return to the hospital after 30 days. In addition, they were 37% less likely to be readmitted after 90 days."
