Not sure who really what is behind this but NOT is well established in the area and on good terms with the first nations. Here is just a hint of what may be happening. 1) NOT attempts to take out freewest. 2) NOT is not successful and FWR goes for the US bigger and new player on the block. 3) NOT says okay big shots, we know these people around here better than the deep pocket Cliffs, we will work with the first nations and disrupt the newcomers efforts access.
FWR is only 3.8 kl from NOT's property. My bet is that first nations are worried about these new comers and the impact they will have on the enviornment. There is no indication FWR is supportive of first nations in the area as Noront is.
This could get interesting for sure. Still like NOT's massive property and potential.
