RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Electric Smelter layoffs due to high cost/Supply thats right moron -  been in the Refractories business for over 35 years and thats how they work ( either a 3 phase EAF or Direct Single phase Furnace ). Don;t believe me - go visit Dofasco or ASW Steels or Ameristeel Whitby or Nucor or any shop using these furnaces, and by the way I prefer Scotch or Canadian Rye.
