RE:It could explain the SP direction?

RE:It could explain the SP direction? The author of that article is a paid hack who is simply jumping onto the bandwagon of haters of the electrifcation of transport.
That author likely has some shares in a hydrogen power associated company and is merely talking his book, so to speak.

The titans of industry supporting the Western world economies have "financially commited" to Li-ion battery materials development and battery cells manufacturing and obviously have commited to the battery powered transportation industry.
This is a media generated blip in interest.
The problems plaguing the  EV industry, e.g.
charging infrastructure, charging speeds, driving range anxiety, freezing cold weather, flamibility of liquid electrolyte, exorbitant costs of acquiring and maintaining EVs, etc., are all problems with most specific solutions already being directed at resolving such issues.
I will tell you that the specific utilization of graphene enhanced battery chemistries enabled battery materials and advanced battery cells is going to serve in helping to go about resolving several of said issues.

Nobody ever believed, I certainly don't, that all transportation would be powered by battery-electric drivetrains alone. BEV's are a very large piece of the puzzle; that's for sure. Anybody who tells you otherwise is simply not in touch with the reality of precisely how many trillions of dollars globally have been dedicated to the proprietary battery chemistries development, proprietary battery materials components development and battery cells manufacturing globally.

Should you want global economic chaos, simply pull the plug, no pun intended, on the global EV manufacturing industry and all the trillions of dollars of investments directed
, both then and now, by all the highly invested parties towards strongly supporting said industry, investments from the critical elements mining to the proprietary battery chemistries development and proprietary finsihed battery materials components to the multitudes of finished EVs.

Perhaps the author of the article in question wants global economic chaos to ensue? Should that happen, I would expect, f
or his sake, he has a remote island to esacpe to. After all, global ecomomic collapse leading to societal collapse . . . Suffice to say the impacts from this happening do not tend to result in kindness for very wealthy people.
