Noticed just before the close a bid for $0.59 popped up and someone sold into it 5 to 10 seconds before the close to show $0.59 close rather then $0.60. So I believe the shorts are still active. The next report on shorts will be helpful.
As well, the industry desperately needs a strong association to lobby government. Illegal cannabis, illegal retailers, illegal vapes and other altered diluted cannabis products are dangerous and contrary to what the Canadian government wanted to overcome with legalization. Its an election, where oh where is the strong voice representing the interests of the Canadian cannabis industry at large?
How much is the illegal market worth $1.2 billion, $2.4 billion? Where is the voice of this industry? Close down the underground market and everyone wins.
I believe the next phase of cannabis products will help to put a dent in the size of the illegals, but where is the industry’s voice?
