Hey “dalton44”,
I have to admit that “dontknowmuch” is pretty apropos when it comes to the status of the license but that won’t stop me from giving you
my opinion :<) ***** There are two possibilities for licensing that I am aware of:
1. The application submitted by NSP directly to Health Canada The latest information from the company as far as I know on this application is contained in the June 12/19 NSP
Investor Deck in the following slides that mention licensing:
– slide 18 – shows status of Processor’s Extraction License applied for in 2018
– slide 19 – refers to Wahupta’s investment in a cannabinoid extraction facility and lab to be owned by NSE.
– slide 21 - Naturally Splendid Extracts has applied for appropriate licensing to become a Health Canada certified extractor of cannabinoids from hemp and marijuana for cannabinoid extraction such as CBD (cannabidiol). (License in Progress)
– slide 41 - a cannabinoid extraction facility, including a full laboratory at Naturally Splendid’s existing manufacturing and distribution facility located in Pitt Meadows, B.C.
2. The licensing of AlternaMedz IF the deal moves forward The latest information from the company on this deal is contained in the
September 6, 2019 news release where it states “Naturally Splendid continues to have ongoing discussions with AlternaMedz Canada Holdings Inc. and will provide an update regarding the transaction in due course.”

The following is basically an addendum to my opinion expressed in
my Sept 18th post.
The
September 27, 2019 news release states “Proceeds of the private placement will be used for expansion of Naturally Splendid's existing facilities, to increase manufacturing capacity and for general working capital purposes”.
Once again there is no mention of AlternaMedz so
I am assuming that “ongoing discussions” is the status quo.
“Used for expansion of Naturally Splendid's existing facilities & to increase manufacturing capacity”.
I am assuming that means the continuation of the NSP license application with any build out that is/will be happening will be at the Pitt Meadows facility. As well as increasing production capabilities for the bites/bars that are in demand right now.

The law that comes into effect Oct 17
th is a whole other topic
