Hey “gdaymate”,
Last Monday morning when I read the
news release about George Ragogna being appointed CFO; I thought – great another positive move. I didn’t have to give it much thought it just made sense to me.
I am not aware of how much time Ragogna and Gilmour have committed/expended in their respective
previous positions. The news suggests to me that no matter what level of busy they were before the “shuffle” all three of them (Ragogna, Gilmour, Carson) are going to be much busier from this point on.
So you ask why the shuffle?

th quarter/year end for NSP which means annual financial statements must be prepared and the annual audit completed. Bryan Carson became the CFO Feb 14, 2020 (Note 1)
after Ms. Reena Sall stepped down as CFO on Feb 7, 2020 and returned to her previous position of Controller.
The closing of the
oversubscribed PP on Jan 13th provides the funding for the purchase of new manufacturing equipment and facility upgrades (Note 2). This includes the preparation for/and the installation and set up of two new packaging lines in addition to the manufacturing equipment.
Carson’s job as VP of Operations/Director is going to keep his azz busy enough without the
CFO responsibilities on top of the operations/manufacturing upgrades (Note 3).

Bryan has taken on a significant role in operations, optimizing production capacity including on-going analysis of budgets, costing and margins. Bryan’s increased attention in this area provided immediate returns in increased capacity and margins. He is also responsible for overseeing facility expansions and certifications such as SQF2 (Safe Quality Food Level 2). Additionally, Bryan has taken a significant role in new product development, proactively creating market ready products in a variety of categories.

the proceeds of the Financing will be directed primarily towards the purchase of new manufacturing equipment and facility upgrades to accommodate the manufacturing of plant-based entrees for the Company's 10-year exclusive manufacturing and distribution agreement with Flexitarian Foods Pty. Ltd., a division of Australia's largest plant-based manufacturer.

November 29, 2021 News Release - This line has been selected for the ability to manufacture our plant-based foods to the exacting standards of our Australian partners, Flexitarian Foods.
Selection and installation of this manufacturing line is being assisted directly by key members of the Flexitarian Foods team who have travelled from Australia and are currently in the process of their onsite evaluations in order to optimize efficiencies of manufacturing line. Key members of Flexitarian Foods will then also be instrumental in the training of the Naturally Splendid production team to assure our clients that they will be receiving the same high-quality products that are currently produced in Australia".
