RE:WTF? What am I seeing here?NSP Presents at Grocery Innovations Canada Trade Show in Toronto - November 9, 2022 Naturally Splendid CEO Mr. Craig Goodwin reports:
…Naturally Splendid was pleased to have Plantein
TM CEO Mr. Evan Tsoukis and Mr. John Nikolaidis, Director of International Sales, join us for the event in Toronto, where we were able to meet with many retailers
both at the trade show as well as at subsequent follow-up meetings.
…We have had many positive meetings resulting from this event, and I would like to thank
our Australian partners for attending and supporting us at this important trade show. ***** My

…Two senior executives from a successful Australian company hop on a plane and fly to Toronto
JUST to attend a trade show – not in my world. I can only speculate….
;<) … I asked the question about Evan & John being in Toronto…how can it be anything but positive for NSP for the two Australian executives to be at the trade show at this time?
Still waiting…..
crickets about the positivity of the Vancouver Giants relationship with NSP, more
crickets about the positivity that
Evan Tsioukis - Owner & CEO of PLANTEIN Australia & John Nikolaidis - VP International Sales PLANTEIN Australia are in Toronto…for just a trade show
:<0 ***** Sure….they got on a plane….spent ~
19hr 46min flying to Vancouver; then spent
4hr 25min flying to Toronto, went to a trade show; then flew home from Toronto spending another
22hr 15min in the air.
Sure….they spent more hours in the air than they did at the
actual trade show.
Sure….it was
all about attending the trade show.
Sure….I’m speculating.
Sure….the shares were up today.
Sure….it’s just food for thought

So earlier today I post about two trade shows that NSP is attending this week. The Gordon Food Service Show in Calgary and the Grocery Innovations Canada 2022 Show in Toronto.
Like past trade shows I fully expected after the events are over to follow up later in the week with posts of/links to pictures posted by NSP from the two events.
So I happen to check out the NSP Facebook page and I see the following post – PlanteinTM getting set up for the Toronto show. Looks like a decent setup for a trade show. That’s not what I find interesting and has me asking questions and admittedly excited about might be going on.

The caption with the picture states:
PLANTEIN getting ready for the Grocery Innovations Canada tradeshow in Toronto! (October 25th-26th)
(From L to R)
Steven Ley - Food Broker
Evan Tsioukis - Owner & CEO of PLANTEIN Australia
John Nikolaidis - VP International Sales PLANTEIN Australia
This is Canada's largest grocery tradeshow held in Toronto.
CEO Craig Goodwin and Director of Sales Rick Lum are excited to have the team from Australia here for the most important show of the year!
*****
So it’s a standard trade show set up. Look closer at the people in the picture and who they are.
Steven Ley, a Vancouver based food broker, haven’t seen him mentioned or involved previously. So I did a little DD and suspect that Steven is doing some consulting work for NSP.
Nothing against Steven but it’s the other two gentlemen in the photo that has me interested/excited about what could possibly be going on In Toronto: Evan Tsioukis - Owner & CEO of PLANTEIN Australia & John Nikolaidis - VP International Sales PLANTEIN Australia. I don’t think any further explanation of who they are and why they are so important is needed.
One huge question:
What are Evan & John from Plantein Australia doing at a trade show in Toronto?
Two senior executives from a successful Australian company hop on a plane and fly to Toronto JUST to attend a trade show – not in my world. I can only speculate…. ;<)
Two weeks ago I challenged a couple posters, anyone actually, to tell us what could possibly be bad about the relationship that NSP has developed with the Vancouver Giants hockey club… crickets!!
I ask the same question about Evan & John being in Toronto…how can it be anything but positive for NSP for the two Australian executives to be at the trade show at this time?
More crickets I expect :<)
