for those who are watching ... and a shout out.

for those who are watching ... and a shout out.Iamwcw touts this little company. And so he should. The once mighty unstoppable Pengrowth Energy - my former personal long time advisement and favorite - is having it's mettle tested. This once 25 dollar stock, most recently shorted from 4 bucks to its current 1.20 price is being pressured.

But to its credit, it has served a long life, indeed, the grandfather of Trust funds responsible for an entire era of "trust funds" based on its business/tax model, has likely returned more to initial investors than any other divvy stock ever..and it still aint over .. however, they are huge and likely able to withstand sustained downturns, unlike so many others, but they have had to hunker down and have made some significant equipment and property sales to service their massive debt load.

Suffice to say I think PGF will pull through and at its current price, maybe even a consideration for a small position.

However, I mention debt and use Pengrowth as a reference for debt. That is and remains problematic for too many oil companies. With one exception.

THIS ONE .. Newport.

Having just posted views from the TIS group, if thier view comes to fruition, NWX is in fine fine shape.

While Iamwcw's posting decorum does not exactly appease the masses - lol - anyone with as much time as they seemingly have money to throw away, has to at least look at his (her?) (cw = cow woman (vs. cowboy ) ) history. You see that this person while crass, .. is not here to appease the masses. Indeed, I had a knee jerk reaction as well, in that I wanted to ignore him.

But truth is truth. Through my DD I have been in contact with all 3 companies in this party .. NWX, Beach and Drill search,

As it turns out, I myself was investigating this little issue (NWX) as I was exiting LRE in the .50s and apparently, maybe, seemingly, just as he/she was espousing its virtues - or - more commonly referred to as "pumping". Be that as it may, after the bruising from both PGF and LRE, my foremost immediate requirement for my next oil play suddenly became to find a company with little to no debt. HAHA good luck .. BUT alas .. here it is. I had not envisioned such a small firm using of a royalty income like it does.

I can safely comment that D.S and Beach dont really like the arrangement with Newport. No sir - they don't like it. BUT WHAT can they do .. and no .. the royalties do not expire .. they may try a little dirty pool with regard to shaking out weak hands .. we'll see ..

The rest is up to you .. dont listen to me .. do your own DD

start here: Due dilligence

GLTA and .. LOL .. thx Iamwcw
