Patent Pending: Truncated BallFor those of you in the dark, John Daugla published yet another invention last year which I found quite interesting when combined with software as all of Blade Optics is married to as part of its new tech.
This design opens numerous doors to observe in all directions (except behind itself of course). What I found interesting was that the patent application was published a few months before Bobby Braun (NASA Chief Technologist) joined the board. In the news release he commented about surveillance / security:
Bobby Braun, Former NASA Chief Technologist and Dean of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of Colorado Boulder Joins NexOptic’s Board of Directors “The company’s sensing capabilities impact a range of applications that affect our lives, from leisure activities to security. The NexOptic team is innovative, collaborative, and capable of moving this technology to market." This truncated ball optical imaging device has many disruptable applications including a lightweight camera on the underside of drones, military or private; a much less invasive medical imaging tip for countless medical procedures (think of your last trip to day surgery - ouch), or surveillance cameras you see everywhere from retail store ceilings to security cameras mounted on both residential and commercial buildings. These specific verticals have been published and presented at AGMs, on their website, and during presentations. With all the private meetings held with BIG name companies at the CES and other shows it makes me wonder what kind of progress has been happening behind closed doors, which for obvious reasons cannot be revealed.
I just bought another 12000 shares. It is a good time to buy when others are giving away their stock. Listen to sentiment, then buy and sell extremes.
