The Truth about DoubleTakeNexoptic has a working prototype in their Edmonton lab. It is not commercial grade: its an engineering prototype, so obviously they can't take it to the shows. Consumers will say 'WTF' I don't want to carry this ugly thing around! However, it does work, none the less, and yes it works with color.
The prototype was delayed because system testing revealed that the internal software required modifications for it to work as assembled.
As of today, DoubleTake Manufacturing is locked down. They are proceeding as planned including their schedule as detailed in recent press releases. The first samples are planned to roll off the production line in Q3. Manufacturing will increase lot sizes incrementally as they proceed with initial production so they minimize costs while fixing issues, with increased volume availability for consumers in Q4 2019. They will be taking pre-sale orders through the second half of the year. No crystal ball, but that is the plan. The software does require modification, and the final burn can be implemented into production within a day. Its a software update, which does not require lead time, just an encrypted file in a email. I did this many time during my employment as a system test and manucturing engineer at Nortel Networks in the '90s with our initial rollouts of IP Phones and the many other products which came out the Calgary facility - no biggee.
All the above is straight from the horses mouth, after I selfishly capitalized all of Kerri's time at the Calgary Outdoor Show booth during two and a half hours in between the crowds of people which came by and checked out this game changer.
So go ahead and cry "the sky is falling" all you chicken littles out there. Hope it generates enough selling volume for you all to cover your undeclared naked shorts. Once this stock starts to lift you won't have a chance to. After that, better sell your house before the bank forcloses on it to cover your margin call. Just sayin' - a fool and their money are soon parted.
