All is copa with NXOPFCharlotte Amalie. 81 degrees in beautiful Cay Bay. Tested for the china flu and we're all cleared to circulate.
The weather is unbelievably perfect, although the winds were rather scarce during that final two days. It seemed like we were getting nowhere fast, but we're here and used hardly any petrol to do it.
Seeing the negativity of comments here, I felt compelled to post a few thoughts. Perhaps my view is somewhat altered after my own week of experiences and the very positive vibes that I'm sensing all around me. But it seems to me that the negative commentaries, some of which border on downright slander (I'm talking to you Reddington et al) always come at a time of maximum pessimism with perhaps a desire to drive the price down to the lowest possible entry point. It makes me think that we're very very close to positive developments. And as the company has proven in the past, they are not about wasting cash by posting news for the sake of posting news. They are a tech development company, not a wet nurse for petulant crying investors who are suffering from buyer's remorse.
Hearing from my colleagues this AM, they continue to hold and confirmed to me that, as a result of contact with the company, absolutely nothing has occurred to justify the price drop beyond investor speculation (max pessimism?). Remember, investors nowadays want immediate gratification. The investing equivalent of Toobinesque gratification cannot wait - even during a Zoom call - satisfaction must be achieved pronto. An investment is weeks or perhaps months for many of this newer crowd, whilst warhorses like myself hold fast to their insight, analysis and perspective until something proves us otherwise. Or when the gut tells them so.
An interesting tidbit....arising from the Brownstone Boca thing....he's made no mention of Nexoptic that they know of. Our tech-focussed guy has sent Nexoptic info to many newsletter writers recommending they cover the company independently. No word if he received any confirmation that they will (I wouldn't expect them to give him that indication anyway), but he said a few came back and are looking at the company more closely. Hope to hear positive developments from that end.
So, that's my news. And my perspective.
Now, everybody go back to your corners and be nice to one another. Nexoptic has a stellar board and a tech that is well ahead of the market. Give it time. Their facebook page has some good info, great photos, and looks like nobody has left the desk unmanned.
Stay positive everyone.
Pray for peace. Keep the Faith.
