I too became tired of the fear and loathing many moonsets ago, and choose to just put those people on ignore.
It is why I would never work in Investor Relations. I have to feel for Mr. Cawlker, who has to serve as wet nurse to these folks. Anyone who feels the necessity to sound off have only one person to blame for their investment decision: him or herself.
As for the rest of us, we've been to this type of dance many times in the past. Investments have their ups and downs. You make your best call and go from there. If it doesn't work, you move on.
There just aren't many of us Gary Cooper types left out there.

Although, I'll never figure out how I managed to marry up like I did. Seeing my wife in a bathing suit for much of the last few weeks makes me feel twenty five years younger.
