Seems its only the fake opening bid maneuver Darndude....easily spotted when the bids and asks are roughly equal in volume and over asking.  Those perpetrating this (it is NOT illegal as far as I know) will then retract the bids just before opening, and anyone who has followed the situation and wanted in badly just may bite and bid ...and get exactly what they wanted.
