Risks related to cartels

Hi all,

The only reason keeping me from adding to my position in Oroco is the risk of cartels moving in and tzking the profit from this mine, which i find very difficult to factor into this stock.
Do you guys know how this potential issue is being addressed by management?
Are there other mining projects where cartels have been an issue?

They buy it via long term agreements with a small number of high profile, reputable international players, not off the back of a truck. As for cartels interfering with big businesses, and in the case of ST ...more

I was once told by Adam it's really a non issue as they are far away from their surroundings.  Moreover, they do have security measures in place for any kind of bandits.  Lastly, the key people that work their have a stake in the company and are mindful of any kind of issues.  It's relatively a very small community there.   This is in addition to all those who have ...more
