lab turn around time
I remeber reading an article last September that said the labs were really backed up. They were saying that the normal turnaround time of 2-6 weeks was now more like 3 months.
Haven't been able to find any articles with an update on the situation, Does anyone know if this is still the case?

Adam and Ian have repeatedly highlighted that assay labs are backed up. They indicated that a rush/expedited assay will take 6-8 weeks. A super rush, which may happen if eg they hit it big in Brasiles would probably still be 4 weeks.

Last year everywhere is locked down due to coronavirus? Isn't 2021 improving? I am wondering how ORRCF speed up the process. If there exists such a service, why wouldn't other companies use it.

You pay a lot more for a rush or super rush! It's not economically feasible to do that for all your cores or even the majority, but it may be warranted for e.g. the first cores or important/high grade cores. The backups have less to do with covid and more with high demand for mineral assays.
