Thank you for the heads-up on this interesting Oroco video. In the comments section for this YT video, I saw awhere someone wrote that Mexico is NO LONGER PERMITTING OPEN PIT MINES. Hmmm ... ? Adam has addressed this on many occasions, but the relevant points can be summed up as:  - The president does not have the authority to unilaterally block 'open pit mines'. Rhetoric in public is one thing by the rules by which permitting operates are very well defined and have not changed - Proposed mines will be judged on an individual basis.  Projects with controversies ...more
