HideWhat does this mean for NWT resident travel?

This new Public Health Order (PHO) replaces the previous PHOs that outlined self-isolation requirements for NWT residents returning to the territory after travel.  Everyone will continue to be required to self-isolate according to their Self-Isolation Plan (SIP), even children. However, for fully vaccinated residents this means you will be exempt from the self-isolation portion of the plan but will still need to do symptom monitoring. In some cases there will be additional testing requirements. This replaces the way self-isolation happened before because members of households had to also self-isolate even if they did not travel. That is no longer the case.

And, as always, if you are sick or become a contact of COVID-19 you will be required to isolate (medically advised).
