1. They found some promising samples - diamonds and other minerals. That’s nice. It is no longer just a Diamond play. There are other valuable minerals in the picture so the possibilities for making money have increased.
2. However, one home run (macro Diamond) doesn’t get you to the Hall of Fame or the World Series.
3. As I said in my last post, we need to verify quantity and quality.
4. Given the remote location and the lack of infrastructure, we need a significant find to make it worthwhile.
5. Here are the key phrases in the press release for me:
“In light of these recent results, as soon as possible, a field program will be expedited to sample in the vicinity of the main Seahorse target. Logistical planning is underway.”
6. “As soon as possible.” - When exactly will this happen?
7. “A field program will be expedited” - This summer?
8. “Logistical planning is underway” - This is a bit vague. Planning to plan or actual planning?
9. One definite positive from this: Reporting from olv.v has been spotty and infrequent to say the least. The fact that we heard from them so soon after the last press release is positive. I look forward to more frequent updates.
