Miningman3 , I dont think so..Billy Bob,
First let me congratulate you on your first post that didn't have a blatant lie or error in it. And you have told some doozies.
In the past you have stated that the capital cost of the project was going to be 870 million(wrong). Including a 15% contingency the final cap expenditures will be around $760 million. Your second whopper was that drilling costs will remove 100 million from the corporate coffers. Wrong again. A 100,000 metre drilling program costs 10 million dollars in Quebec. You posted that the ounces are worth 6 an ounce rather than the 60 an ounce. We'll give you the benefit of the doubt on that one and blame it on your poor typing skills.
You have also implied that because this is a low grade project people should be running away from the project. Not quite sure why. You have never really explained that. Maybe you can give us an explanation of the financial model you are using to come up with a net present value or internal rate of return for this project. Those are the metrics most people use to assess the economic viability of a project. I think I asked you for that information before but you never responded for some reason. What are you coming up with in terms of cash cost per ounce at Osisko. Is it over $500, $600, $700? The projected average cost in the industry next year will be in the upper $450-500 range. Last I looked at the prefeasibility study Osisko will be coming in somewhere in the $330-375 range easily in the worlds top quartile. And that is without benefit of the higher grade South Barnat zone.
In your humble opinion and you are certainly entitled to one you attach a value of $25 an ounce to your valuation. What is the logic behind that? A month ago this stock was valued at $60 an ounce or $6 according to you and 6 months ago was valued at close to $100 an ounce. The 7-8 mining analysts that follow Osisko still use a valuation of between $75-$100 an ounce for an exploration company and as one gets closer to becoming a producer the valuation per ounce increases to $150 an ounce. Not to doubt your stalwart qualifications. I mean you say you get paid $180,000 a year for your knowledge. Wow. Hard to compete against that. I assume you must also have tons of financing expertise in project finance and in raising hundreds of million dollars. Care to share with us what makes you an expert on raising financing. What financing options have you looked at for Osisko and why have you dismissed them?
Rather than talk about penny mining stocks that have gone belly up or $15,000 motors or how you know Fred, Jim Bob or Sam McGoo out in BC give us some real facts as to why people should buy or sell Osisko.
Now just because I hold a favourable view of this stock and you call me a pumper does that mean you are a paid basher because of your lies and errors?
Notice I haven't called you an idiot throughout the post even though I'm still thinking it.
Waiting for your response Billy Bob. Show us why they pay you $180,000 per year.
