Why sell at all?Hi everyone, I'm a junior investor and I've dabbled mostly with mining stocks. I have been watching the news coming from this G / OSK saga and recently AUY involved.
My question is why sell to anyone? Why doesn't Osisko want to just keep on existing the way it is? There is some debt on the balance sheet to be paid off but I think the world seems confident they will have the cash flow to handle it themselves.
I can see the shareholder incentive for trying to get a short-term pop the way Brigus went to Primero, but here it's all priced in, there's nothing more to be gained from sale so why not just try to grow the company further?
