Pine Point camp

The prime focus for OM, a brownfield camp with one of the largest open pit resource in the space, holding promising exploration targets for the futur. If in production, it would produce amongst the best zinc concentrates globally, offering a premium product for smelters needing to blend from dirty concentrates.

On site, existing infrastructure benefit the project tremendously, from low energy costs to 25m wide haul roads, in addition of a paved highway along the property and rail going into Hay River. Also, nearby communities have shown interest in the development of this project and offer a source of experienced workforce in the mining sector. The NWT being a safe juridisdaction and promoting the start-up of new mines.

Why zinc? The zinc market is expected to enter into supply deficit, meanwhile inventories are depleted and the pipeline is dry creating the perfect storm! Renewed interest in infrastructure spending can send prices through the roof considering these fundamentals. The more you dig, the more it gets exciting!

Also Bob Wares mentIoned mine closures due to unviable zinc prices will add to the supply deficit.  My question is wont the mines just reopen once the zinc price improves??

Most producers have lower grades left to mine from and economically not viable to reopen..
