Not so bizarre really. the company just concluded a failed process largest shareholder is hitting the bid and probably doesn't get filled stuck with an overhang and a blind pool for future acquisitions on top of the ongoing Tanzanian saga

Correct. To go through the 4 month review process with a special committee and RBC advisors only to come back with a large buy back which is nice but pretty basic when you consider the company has about $185M CAD mostly in held in savings and bonds.  Orca has continued to trade near it's cash position and the stock price has taken little value with respect to the valuation of the
