For those longs that remember Warren

For those longs that remember Warren
WORKMAN, Warren December 28, 1951 - August 28, 2013Warren passed away peacefully on August 28, 2013 after a long and courageous journey with cancer. He is survived by his wife Rhonda, daughter Nicole Liesemer (Bryce), sons Luke Workman (Lindsay Hogan) and Josh Workman, and grandchildren Sarah and Mark Liesemer. Warren grew up in Toronto and enjoyed summers spent outdoors at his family's cottage at Twelve Mile Lake. His intense curiousity and scientific mind led him to obtain an engineering degree and he headed west to pursue a much enjoyed career as a geologist and geophysicist in the oilpatch. Warren loved his family and we have treasured memories of him - filled with joy and laughter. An avid hockey fan, Warren also enjoyed hiking, music and reading. Warren's deep and quiet faith was unwavering and his steady presence in our lives will be missed. A life well lived, a life too short. A Memorial Service will be held at Grace Presbyterian Church (1009 - 15 Avenue S.W.) on Friday, September 6, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.evanjstrong.com. - See more at: https://www.legacy.com/obituaries/calgaryherald/obituary.aspx?n=warren-workman&pid=166695702#fbLoggedOut
