RE:Q3 APACHE INVESTOR PRESENTATION

RE:Q3 APACHE INVESTOR PRESENTATION

Majority of the Q&A section was related to Suriname. Below are Apache's comments on Maka (earnings call):

  - Apache now just above the reservoir targets. To date, Apache has not seen anything unanticipated during the course of drilling Maka - things on track.

  - Maka will test two cretaceous reservoir targets. Apache anticipates reservoirs will be oil prone (as opposed to gas or gas-condensate).

  - Maka reservoirs are expected to be thick based on seismic and basin analysis.

  - Apache has permitted 9 wells on Block 58. Subsequent wells will be based on Maka well results.

  - Apache yet to fully assess and risk the upper tertiary / Miocene prospects on Block 58. Though, Miocene prospects are visible on 3D and part of the 7 plays and 50 prospects Apache has alluded to previously.
