DEC-9-2019: APACHE PURSUING SHALLOW WATER PLAY BLK 58

DEC-9-2019: APACHE PURSUING SHALLOW WATER PLAY BLK 58If I am reading this article correctly - it seems Apache will be bringing in another rig to prusue simultaneous drilling operations on Block 58.

The article states (after translation): [Apache] has strong suspicions that in the southern part of block 58, where it is shallower, there is an oil prospect the company wants to pursue.

Perhaps this is on trend with Repsol's Carapa well... Or, perhaps Inpex's Aitkanti...

If true, this is great news that another EP will be pursuing prospects on the shelf of the Guyana-Suriname basin.
