RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Hess sells interest in Mexico for Guyana projectExcellent post waitingstill. I did not know that CGX/Frontera could choose which % of the land blocks they wish to give back to the government. In many ways, as long as they can keep northern half of Corentyne and maybe 50% of Demarara, then all is good anyway.
I would have to guess at this point an extension would be coming fairly soon. November is around the corner and I cannot see CGX/Frontera fighting hard to keep all of the current concessions (if that is part of the negotiation process).
My guess is that the largest challenge as part of the new deal with the government would probably be the money required to drill some wells and how CGX/Frontera plan on addressing this concern. I really hope to god they don't get more than a 1yr extension... a genuine 'fire' needs to put on these guys to find a JV partner at all costs who will help them drill.
As for shareholder updates, I agree. My post was more of a facetious attempt to illuminate my disgust with these jokers.
Maybe tomorrow will the 'lucky' day we are all hoping for haha!
