RE:Drilling

RE:DrillingSoul, i dont know if u remember this post from OCM so i thought i would post it and add if OilRun has more to pls post.....

The general timing I expect is as follows (day0 being arrival on location):

day0-day7: Anchoring, pre-spud logistics, closing critical items from acceptance test if any etc.
day7-day18: Tophole drilling (i.e. conductor & surface casing)
day18-day20: BOP run and tests
day20-day28: Drilling and casing of the first intermediary section
day28-day35: Drilling and casing of the second intermediary section
day35-day45: Contingency (maybe they will have to run a drilling liner of some sorts etc)
From day45 onwards I expect reservoir section drilling at any moment.
I do not have any, repeat, any information regarding offset wells achitecture etc so these timings are based on personal experience, some intuition and some database analysis.
Soul, i dont know if u remember this from OCM.......certainly if Oilrun has more to offer he can chime in.....just thought i would post this,
