OIL_RUN can you comment on what might be happening on this 20th day of drilling?
Approximately how deep do you thing they are now, how many feet can they drill in one day?
What is the timeline for the first zone?

Soul, i dont know if u remember this post from OCM so i thought i would post it and add if OilRun has more to pls post..... The general timing I expect is as follows (day0 being arrival on location): day0-day7: Anchoring, pre-spud logistics, closing critical items from acceptance test if any etc. day7-day18: Tophole drilling (i.e. conductor & surface casing) day18-day20: BOP run and tests ...more

Thanks stark15 I recall seeing this now. I just wanted to get a sense of when leaks might happen LOL Will have to keep an eye on volume/ SP for clues.

I would generally expect CGX to have completed their open water work (running 36 conductor and 22 casing) given Aug 23 SPUD. From this point on they will rig up their riser and proceed to drill towards total depth running various casing sections along the way. The Kawa well plan may comprise running various casing sizes until reach total depth. For example, 18-5/8, 16, 13-3/8, 11-3/4, 10-3/4, ...more

Google repsol jaguar iqpc and there you'll see 29 October 2013-IQPC. It's a pdf file. On page 12 or 13 you'll see "Logging Evaluation Inventory" chart with a chart showing progress. I use that as a rough guide. They took 2 kicks around day 40 from spud. That info is on another page.
