RE:RE:Second well of the Discoverer ALSO on Corentyne...It's a legitimate question. Given that they have already anticipated drilling another well (i.e. the Demerara well as per the original plans), they will have issued the relevant PO's for qeuipment for this well and they can simply use these.

The only problem I see with that approach is that Kawa is deeper than the prospects on Demerara so the casing strings, in particular the production and intermediary strings, will turn out to be too short. This being said, a number of options could compensate for that; they will have ordered back-up strings and also equipment for a relief well (it has become standard practice since 2010) so they may want to "nibble" on these or buy some surplus casing from another operator.

Options do exist if your drilling director is the ex Drilling SVP of Chevron...
