RE:RE:Maapstrictian Lmao! No worries here mate. I just get a kick out of where kicks may be encountered. Hey they took a kick at such and such a depth. Then the banter goes on and on about how it doesn't make sense because at that depth there's a shale or not even in Campanian yet or they have drilled past it etc.

Anyway just told Dfly that I've been checking out alluvial fans. Jennifer Budlong said that Kawa was at the mouth of such a fan structure. So checking them out I read that typically at the mouth is where the gravel, rocks, boulders get dropped out of the flow stream. That means huge empty volumes between rock pieces and piles of permeability. Here, I was thinking homogenious sand particles with pore spaces between sand grains filled with hydrocarbons but no! Lots more once empty volume that could be filled with hydrocarbons with very high permeability. That means oil flow isn't restricted as much. And we wait....
