Here we go!!!

Once investors realize this is the cheapest the stock will be until they reach TD, the price should continue up!

So much for yesterday's bump... back down to $1.64, thereby completely eliminating the gains seen. On considerably less volume no less. Yesterday's gains, in combination with last week's rise, should have easily pushed us above $2 today. Something does not make sense (albeit when does it with CGX?), especially considering we are literal days from spud.  I genuinely think ...more

I agree it sure seems that someone does not want this stock to rise to what it is really worth wonder if that means something unexpected is planned prior to finally allowing the stock price to flight prices are kept down purposefully if there is something in the works hope it does not hurt shareholders management could care less about us glta edmed

It will be a case of rinse and repeat every couple of days. The shorts are killing this stock. Boy the $2.70 high sure looks great right now. Let's see what happens when the rig starts to move and we are spud. GLTA

We will be solidly at 2$ at spud. And is exactly where I expected to be when the bit hits the water. Don't know what you guys a freaking out about? GLTA.

Ljmorin, I personally was expecting $3-4 at spud. Still might happen, but it looks like your $2 target is looking more realistic. Horrible asset management if $2-2.50 is the peak CGX will go during spud announcement. Ok, they don't want to JV because they believe they are sitting on the next greatest oil discovery in the world. Fair enough. At the vest least, the JV should champion ...more

I certainly can't disagree with you WCP, But these guys have never promoted themselves may a little right at the beggining. I believe when they drilled Jag it was hovering around 2 bucks as well 1.85 at spud if I recall correctly. It's just how Suresh rolls, Whats very disappointing is De Alba but he's in crappy spot too being Chairs of both Companies. I really expected more promotion ...more

From what I understand they have to disclose upon the financing of the drilling, but where is that fine line.Is it when the rig starts its journey or it starts to drill It definitely cant be when they hit or miss oil.Anybody out there have any idea on the legal time line CGX will have to follow
Comment by soulfire on Jul 28, 2021 7:05am
WCP I agree. People like Devanand, OIL_RUN have been doing more to promote this stock than CGX/FRontera. We get daily posts from Dev to keep us updated. Much appreciated. I also agree that Frontera is extremely greedy in their approach and Suresh is no help either. CGX should have a real leader to champion this exploration endeavour.  Let's hope for the best after spud. I sincerely hope ...more

Does anyone have any ideas what Frontera's actual end game plan here is? Its clear they hate the higher current SP. Everytime it goes up, it is brought done on small sells. If it wasn't for the late June push upwards (which I still think Frontera coordinated to a large degree in hopes of making a potential JV partner antsy), we probably would still be at low $1.  My fear is that ...more

Personally, I do not think there is nearly as much stock manipulation going on as you may think. IMO, the reason the stock price has not climbed the way many here expected is because these questions are not being answered. If CGX had funds in the bank and everyone knew how the drill was being paid for, I know I would jump back in, and I think so would some fund managers willing to invest serious ...more

It would not be in FECs best interest to giive Guyana's Indinginous Oil Company the short end of the stick. You must be a little bit new here. They are woven in deep with all the movers and shakers and Govenrment there. Fact one, CGX has 66.6% interest in the blocks no matter how much FEC owns of them. Fact two, This well will be drilled very soon or FEC and CGX lose the block. One good hit on ...more

To your first point. The fact FEC owns shares in CGX is irrelevent. They are two seperate companies with seprate board members (probably with some crossover) and seperate shareholders the board needs to be accountable to. CGX owns 66% of the block and therefore is responsible for 66% of the cost of the drill. To your second point, I agree, the drill is going to happen. I am very confident FEC ...more

ljitmoron, I really think you have completely lost all objectivity here, there is nothing indigenous about CGX other than SN, and I see him as a liablility at this point. FEC is, slowly, but surely swallowing CGX, and why shouldn't they. CGX is robbing shareholders with each paycheck management receives... they should have been sunk long ago. Movers and shakers in the Government - BS.  ...more

Obviously your on the outside looking in now huh. Woulda coulda shoulda might be your mantra in a few months? I'm riding for free with 6 digits amount of shares. How you doing?? The drill will still happen, the stock will still rise. Its up to me now for how much and when I take out. And my average is all under 35 cents each CAD.  Have great day!! I know I am having one. GLTA, Even you ...more

AnMar that's a valid point. Given what I know now and having been through hell for the past 18 years I would never invest in another company such as CGX.But....many of us has had our hands tied for years. Having said that I do believe in the CGX prospects, they will hit big so I'll hang in for now. I agree Frontera is greedy and will swallow up some more of CGX for pennies. However we will ...more
